a bit about me
Nina grew up in the Midwest, but currently lives in Seaport with her boyfriend and their two dogs, Rocket and Rebel. Despite having family roots in the food industry, it took her awhile to discover that bringing people together to laugh, smile, and enjoy good food was something worth pursuing. Before attending the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts (CSCA), she earned her Masters of Social Work from Boston University. After a few years of working with youth in the juvenile justice system, she left to pursue another passion—culinary arts. At CSCA, she completed the Professional Pastry Program and graduated in June ’21.
She studied various French techniques used to make traditional pastries and other classic European desserts. Now, Nina is a personal chef at Queen of the Pantry (QOTP), a female founded personal chef and catering service in the Boston area. At QOTP Nina and her colleagues develop diverse menus and create meals tailored to client needs. Independently, she also provides baked goods for MIT. nano on a regular basis. Someday, Nina hopes to unite both of her interests; empowering youth to discover their creativity through the evolving world of culinary arts.
